Holly Wales is an illustrator, educator and writer. Holly explores a variety of subject matter through self-initiated and commercial work for a range of international clients, in a variety of playful mediums.
She has written projects and taught on illustration and design programmes at Winchester School of Art, Central St Martins, Brighton University, Camberwell College of Arts and Birmingham Institute of Art & Design. She illustrates a regular weekly column, “Lives” for The New York Times Magazine.

Holly Wales co-founded OPEN in 2010 after working in many different studios and finding out what was missing. She is responsible for forging new educational links with art colleges, crits, workshops and writing briefs as part of her own practice. Holly is also in charge of finance at OPEN.
