OPEN is a shared studio space located in De Beauvoir Town in East London. Home to a range of creative practitioners, it provides freelancers with the opportunity to collaborate, learn, critique and evolve as a group and as individuals.

The multi-disciplinary community of OPEN encourages tenants to expand their creative output in an exciting environment. The studio was founded in 2010 as a space dedicated to supporting the work of illustrators in a shared studio environment with hands-on print facilities but has since expanded to welcome creatives ranging from printmakers to typography designers to journalists.

Beyond a beautiful physical space in which to build on our practices, OPEN aims to foster support, criticism, dialogue, opportunity and a sense of belonging to inspire both our creative work and independent businesses; and in turn help others to benefit from the same.
